1. Department of Tourism

2. Indian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC)
The responsibilities include distribution of information related to the tourism industry, activities and other such related news or events. Running ITDC hotels is another responsibility of this body. 3. State Tourism Corporations
This governing body makes required promotions for tourism in each state. The major responsibilities are similar to that of ITDC but limited within their specific state.
